Performing as the lead guitarist for the band, Spike grew up playing guitar in Church, which led to his taking up the electric guitar.

As the youngest of 6, it was Spike’s siblings and whānau (family) who taught him how to play and regardless of where his musical career will take him, Spike says he’ll never stop playing music!
